KARACHI: A petition filed by Humayun Chemicals will be heard by a custom appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) on Friday.
The petitioner moving the court through Rayan Zia advocate of Expert Law firm submitted that petitioner is only seeking direction to the respondents to provisionally release the consignment of the petitioner which is have been assessed as per Valuation Ruling 1396 of 2019 which ruling has been challenged before the Director (Valuation).
The bench after hearing the counsel ordered issuance of pre-admission notice for 20-12-2019. The respondents were also directed to consider the request of the petitioner for provisional release subject to securing disputed amount of taxes and duties before the concerned collectorate.
