Customs Quetta recovers smuggled vehicles worth Rs90 million

KARACHI: Customs Preventive Quetta conducted raids on a showroom and recovered 11 non-duty-paid luxury vehicles worth Rs90 million.

Information was received through Collector Customs Preventive Dr. Iftikhar, that non-duty paid luxury vehicles are parked at a showroom near airport road an operation was conducted to recover these vehicles. A special raiding party was accordingly constituted by Additional Collector Jameel Baloch.

The raiding party conducted operation with the active support and coordination of FC Balochistan and Police. During the raid, 11 luxury non duty paid vehicles were recovered.

The vehicles were safely escorted to Cusotm House, Quetta despite stiff resistance from a mob around the showroom. The estimated value of the vehicles is around Rs90 million.
