FBR reshuffles five PCS officers

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has notified transfers and postings of five Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) officers ranging BS-19 to BS-17.

Accordingly, Ghulam Nabi Kamboh (BS-19) is posted Additional Collector MCC Preventive Multan on joining.

Jamshed Ali Talpur (BS-18) is posted Secretary (OPS) FATF Cell at FBR HQ Islamabad on return from MCMC. Muhammad Akbar Jan (BS-18) is moved from the office of Deputy Collector MCC Preventive Karachi to the office of Deputy Collector MCC Preventive Quetta.

Under the supervision of Collector Preventive Saquib Saeed, Deputy Collector Akbar Jan planned raids on markets housing smuggled goods. Jan had strengthened the intelligence network and collected valuable information regarding trading of smuggled goods. However, he was suddenly transferred. An official said Akbar Jan was a very competent officer and the Collectorate had been deprived of an efficient and honest officer, as no other officer was posted at MCC Preventive.

Hameer Khan (BS-17) is moved from the post of Assistant Collector MCC Preventive Karachi and posted as Assistant Collector MCC Preventive Quetta.

Syeda Sidra Munawar Kazmi (BS-17) is moved from the post of Assistant Collector (Prob) MCC Preventive Lahore to the office of Assistant Collector (Prob), MCC Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) Lahore.
