MEXICO CITY: Infraestructura Energética Nova (IEnova), informs the execution, through one of its subsidiaries, of two 15-year, clean energy supply contracts with Comercializadora Círculo CCK, S.A. de C.V. and subsidiaries and El Puerto de Liverpool, S.A.B. de C.V. and subsidiaries.
Liverpool’s contract is in addition to the one announced in February 2018. The energy for both contracts will be generated by one of IEnova’s solar power plants located in Juárez, Chihuahua, which will begin operations on the second semester of 2020.
This project will have an installed capacity of 150 MW and an approximate investment of $160 million. These operations confirm IEnova’s commitment with the development of energy infrastructure in Mexico and consolidates it as one of the leading clean energy generation companies in the country.
