CHIBA, JAPAN: Autonomous Control Systems Laboratory Ltd. (ACSL) announced to expand business footprints into Singapore and Southeast Asia with cooperation from Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. and Leave a Nest Singapore Pte. Ltd.

ACSL  has exhibited  at  the  Unmanned  Systems  Asia  2019  (April  2019)  and  has  conducted Proof-of-Concept projects with end-users to gain understanding into client needs, technology advantages  and  related regulations  in  Southeast  Asia.

The company  concluded  that  the market demand towards ACSL’s proprietary technology to fly autonomously in GPS-denied environment using image processing (i.e., Visual SLAM) exists in Inspection and Warehouse Management applications and has decided to expand business footprints in this region.

To successfully enter the rapid-growing Southeast Asian markets, ACSL partners with Leave a Nest and Leave a Nest Singapore to leverage their know-hows and networks in a variety of field –from securing local offices and building networks with local governments/enterprises, to sales activity support and talent recruitment.

Leavea Nest  and  Leave a Nest  Singapore  support  Japanese  startups  to  enter  Southeast Asian markets by providing incubation space L-HUB (L-nest Innovation HUB aka L-HUB) to promote  collaboration  with  local  startups,  and  by  connecting  startups  with  enterprises, government agencies and university networks.

ACSL will continue to realize social implementation of drone solutions both in and out of Japan
