RIYADH: Advanced Petrochemical Company announced that its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Eng. Abdullah M. Al Garawi, has submitted his resignation to be effective from 16th August 2019, as he is approaching end of his contract. Eng. Al Garawi will continue to extend his support, as Chief Advisor, to the Company’s Board of Directors until 30th November 2019.
Further, he will continue to serve as Board member of the Company’s Board until the end of the Board’s current term at September 30, 2019.
Advanced’s Board of Directors has appointed Eng. Fahad Salem Al Matrafi, currently Vice President Technical, as the new CEO from 16th August 2019.
Advanced Board thanked Eng. Al Garawi’s efforts and contributions to the Company’s performance over the last 9 years.
The Board further stated that the new CEO appointee Eng. Al Matrafi is an experienced Saudi executive with a long track record of more than 20 years in the petrochemical industry. He will take over the leadership of the Company with his tremendous operational, technical and marketing expertise.
