KARACHI: Engr. Daroo Khan Achackzai, President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) appreciated consultative process to implement Axle Load on National Highways to carry goods.
President FPCCI said that it is a good decision to implement rules with the consultation of stakeholders. He further said that due to new limit of axle load the consignment weight on trucks has been drastically reduced, and it would not be possible for transporters to cover their cost which will ultimately affect doing business ranking of Pakistan. The trucking industry which is under developed will also face difficulties in expansion.
