RIYADH: Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) has announced scheduled periodic maintenance turnaround for some of its production units.
[the_ad id=”32940″]Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) announced the scheduled periodic turnaround maintenance on the following production units: Acetic Acid Plant of International Acetate Company (IAC), Vinyl Acetate Monomer Plant of the International Vinyl Acetate Company (IVC), Carbon Monoxide Plant of International Gases Company (IGC) an affiliate of Sipchem, which will contribute to enhance the reliability and production of these plants.
The scheduled Turnaround maintenance duration will commence as below dates:
1- Acetic Acid Plant on Sunday June 23, 2019 for (6) Six Weeks
2- Vinyl Acetate Monomer Plant on Tuesday June 25, 2019 for (3) Three Weeks
3- Carbon Monoxide Plant on Monday July 01, 2019 for (4) Four Weeks
The turnaround maintenance is in accordance with each of the above companies 2019 business plans. The financial impact of this scheduled turnaround maintenance will be announced once the activity is completed and will be reflected on 3rd Quarter of 2019 financial results.
The company has taken the necessary actions to eliminate any potential impact on its customers. Sipchem will make further announcement in relation to any updates and progress as appropriate.
