KARACHI: The customs authorities of Port Muhammad Bin Qasim Collectorate were ordered to release consignments of petitioner company messrs Bristol Plastic Industries here on Thursday.

The bench comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan earlier heard Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate appearing for the petitioner company. She maintained that case of petitioner company is identical to M R Enterprise which has been given relief of release of the consignments by the High Court bench. She prayed for similar relief while citing the Chief Collector Customs, Collector Customs Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Collector of Appeals, hapag lloyd, DP World.

The bench allowing the request ordered release of consignments while tagging this petition with petition by M R Enterprises to be heard on July 10.

The same bench hearing another petition filed by Premier Plastic Recycling Company issued notice to the respondents for July 04. The petitioner moved the court for implementation of delay detention certificate which was refused by the APL shipping lines and QICT. The other respondents include Collector Customs Port Muhammad Bin Qasim and chairman FBR.
