KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: Senior plc, an international manufacturer of high technology components and systems, announced the opening of its new 180,000 square feet Aerospace manufacturing facility at the Malaysia International Aerospace Centre near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The new facility complements Senior Aerospace UPECA’s existing facility and has been established as a direct consequence of Senior’s continued success in winning content on key Airbus and Boeing growth platforms. [the_ad id=”31605″]The facility was developed on a build-to-lease basis by Axis Real Estate Investment Trust in partnership with Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad.  The new facility will house highly skilled engineering and technical employees and boast state-of-the-art equipment, such as large 5-axis CNC machines.

A key differentiating feature of this new facility is the comprehensive special process and non-destructive testing capabilities.  With the breadth of these new capabilities, the new facility will provide increased options for Senior Aerospace’s customers as well as providing capacity to support future growth.
