BRUSSELS: In Paris on 23 May, EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström met with US Trade Representative Ambassador Robert E. Lighthizer, and Mr. Hiroshige Seko, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.

After their meeting, the three issued a joint statement.
