KARACHI: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Peshawar has lodged an FIR against several accused in relation to the Indian origin smuggled dry fruits recovered from Aziz Cold Storage owned by Senator Mohsin Aziz.
[the_ad id=”32940″]Getting aware of the situation that smuggled goods had been found from his cold storage, Senator Mohsin Aziz extended all assistance and help to the Customs authorities. Mohsin Aziz informed the authorities that he owned the storage but the recovered goods were owned by Ismail s/o Abdul Jalil, Mehmood s/o of Haji Ghazi, Haji Hafeezullah, Yar Mohammad and Sher Afzal.
Subsequently, Customs Peshawar has lodged an FIR against the accused and investigations are underway.
It may be recalled that MCC Preventive Peshawar acting on prior information had recovered Rs35.6 million worth of smuggled dry fruits from Aziz Cold Storage near Haji Camp, G.T Road Peshawar.
