KARACHI: Justice Junaid Ghaffar of High Court of Sindh (SHC) on Friday asked counsel of Pakistan Customs Port Muhammad Bin Qasim to seek instructions in a case of delay in amending the manifest A.K. International filed the suit through Franklin Law Associates seeking direction to the custom authorities to amend the manifest.

A counsel from the law firm appearing for the plaintiff company maintained that the APL Shipping Line, carrier has amended the manifest on the request of the shipper but the custom authorities are delaying the action detriment to the business of the importer/plaintiff.

The bench after hearing the sides asked counsel for defendants to seek instructions and decide the issue otherwise the court will pass the appropriate orders.
