KARACHI: A division bench of High Court of Sindh comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Abdul Malik Gaddi on Monday issued notice to the respondent custom officials for April 12 while restraining them from taking any coercive action against the petitioner Dawood Masih.

The petitioner through Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate maintained that he is a second purchaser as he bought the vehicle from one Naseeb Khan. The vehicle bears registration number BGE 973 and of model 2010.

The Secretary, Ministry of Finance, SSP Anti Car Lifting Cell and Director Intelligence of Pakistan Customs are cited as respondents in the case.

The bench after preliminary hearing while ordering issuance of notice for April 12 restrained the respondents from any coercive action against the petitioner.
