Telenor Pakistan partners with Netflix

KARACHI: Telenor Pakistan on Thursday announced its partnership with Netflix, the world’s leading internet entertainment service, a statement said.

As part of this partnership, Telenor’s postpaid and corporate customers in Pakistan will be able to add their Netflix subscription fee to their monthly mobile bill, eliminating the need to share additional credit card or debit card details, it added.

[the_ad id=”32940″]New and existing Netflix subscribers in Pakistan will be able to select the option to pay through their Telenor mobile bills from the payments page of Netflix.

They can simply complete this process by entering their Telenor mobile number, followed by the OTP (one time password).

Sardar Abubakr, chief digital and strategy officer at Telenor Pakistan, said: “Leading Pakistan’s digital transformation, we are always on the lookout for innovative ways to integrate solutions and maximise utility for our customers.”

“Telenor Pakistan’s partnership with Netflix will help us achieve that through our industry-first Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) service. With this partnership, our customers will be able to get seamless access to Netflix’s stellar catalogue of original and licenced content.”
