Board members of Pak-UK Business Council elected

KARACHI: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) has elected nine directors on the board of Pak-UK Business Council of the Federation for the year 2019.

FPCCI had received 17 nominations for the seat of director on Pak-UK Business Council’s board.

The elected directors include Imran Khalil Naseer CEO of Float Securities; Sheikh Muhammad Tariq Managing Partner of Tariq Sheikh International; Mohammad Usama Qureshi MD & CEO of Hamdard Laboratories; Mubasher Umer of Rania Enterprises, Syed Mohammad Ali Abbasi Director Abbasi Securities; Asim Shabbir Patka Executive Director UTI Industries, Abdullah Akhtar Director Akhtar & Sons; Aurungzeb Anwar CEO JAS Travel Group and Altaf Hashwani Director S.S Fashion Resources.

FPCCI, the apex trade body of Pakistan places extreme importance on improving trade and business ties between Pakistan and United Kingdom (UK).

Pak-UK Business Council provides a forum for readily exchange of business friendly information on investment and trade opportunities both in UK and Pakistan, and evaluate possibilities of joint ventures with a view towards suggesting ways for improving investments in both countries.

Council encourages collaboration and investment in various sectors between the two countries.
