KARACHI: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) has elected nine directors on the board of Pak-UK Business Council of the Federation for the year 2019.

FPCCI had received 17 nominations for the seat of director on Pak-UK Business Council’s board.

The elected directors include Imran Khalil Naseer CEO of Float Securities; Sheikh Muhammad Tariq Managing Partner of Tariq Sheikh International; Mohammad Usama Qureshi MD & CEO of Hamdard Laboratories; Mubasher Umer of Rania Enterprises, Syed Mohammad Ali Abbasi Director Abbasi Securities; Asim Shabbir Patka Executive Director UTI Industries, Abdullah Akhtar Director Akhtar & Sons; Aurungzeb Anwar CEO JAS Travel Group and Altaf Hashwani Director S.S Fashion Resources.[the_ad id=”32940″]FPCCI, the apex trade body of Pakistan places extreme importance on improving trade and business ties between Pakistan and United Kingdom (UK).

Pak-UK Business Council provides a forum for readily exchange of business friendly information on investment and trade opportunities both in UK and Pakistan, and evaluate possibilities of joint ventures with a view towards suggesting ways for improving investments in both countries.

Council encourages collaboration and investment in various sectors between the two countries.
