KARACHI: Kohat Cement Company Limited has announced a net profit of Rs998.35 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2018, which is 34.6 percent higher than the profit of Rs741.05 million recorded in the corresponding period last year.
The earnings per share (EPS) for the period under review clocked in at Rs4.97, as against EPS of Rs3.69 in the same period previous year. The company did not announce any payouts along with the corporate announcement.
Kohat Cement Company’s net revenues for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 stood at Rs4.87 billion, 41.15 percent higher than the revenue of Rs3.45 billion posted in the quarter ended December 31, 2017.
For the six-month period ended December 31, 2018, Kohat Cement posted a net profit of Rs1.526 billion translating into EPS of Rs7.6 compared with the profit of Rs1.64 billion and EPS of Rs8.19 in the corresponding period previous year.
