KARACHI: Tariq Khoso, Presiding Officer of Banking Court and Link Judges to Special Customs Court at Karachi on Tuesday reserved order in a bail plea filed by accused/applicant Amanullah son of Hayat Khan through counsel Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate.
The accused was booked in FIR 14/2019 at Pakistan Customs Sukkur after an oil tanker driven b the accused was stopped at Rangers check post at Jacobabad on 10-2-2019. Betel nuts, indian Gutka and cigarettes were recovered during the search of the vehicle owned by a registered petroleum company.
The counsel submitted that accused was not aware of the illegal articles stored in the tanker as he was not required to be present at filling station of starting point.
The court after hearing arguments from the sides reserved order on bail application to be announced on Monday next.
