KARACHI: Pascal Gerken, Chairman Young President Organisation (YPO) called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at PM Office and appreciated government’s policy of opening up the country to foreign visitors and investors, Press Information Department PID reported.

Pascal Gerken is the CEO of Gerken SA and E-Carbon. Young President Organisation (YPO) is the premier leadership organisation of chief executives in the world.

Pascal Gerken briefed the PM about the vast network of YPO across the world serving in various sectors of economy and appreciated government’s policy of opening up the country to foreign visitors and investors.

Prime Minister Imran Khan welcomed Chairman Young President Organisation (YPO) to Pakistan and highlighted huge potential of the country in various sectors of economy especially in tourism.

Prime Minister stated that the most attractive area that has remained unexplored so far, for investment was the tourism sector.

“Government is committed to facilitate investors in undertaking profitable business ventures in the country,” emphasized the Prime Minister.

He said that the government is focusing on improving ease of doing business and has introduced the most liberal visa policy which is aimed at welcoming businesses and tourists.

Advisor to PM on Commerce Abdul Razzak Dawood and Chairman Board of Investment Haroon Sharif were also present during the meeting.
