MCC Quetta seizes smuggled goods, dismantle illegal fuel stations
QUETTA: MCC Quetta has foiled a bid to transport smuggled goods at Kolpur Customs Post and seized goods worth Rs15 million. Moreover, in an operation against illegal fuel stations, selling and storing smuggled petrol/diesel, 15 such stations were sealed with the assistance of Police and area magistrate.
“We raided these minis-pumps, sealed and dismantled them in the presence of area magistrate. Establishing such unauthorized fuel stations in congested and residential areas is also dangerous, and these activities would not be tolerated,” Assistant Collector Akmal Durrani said.
Collector Preventive appreciated these efforts. Inspectors Ghulam Hussain Khoso, Naseer Shaheen, Isfund Yar and Asghar Khan kakar participated in both operations.
