Work suspended at SHC over lawyer’s death, employees commits suicide

KARACHI: The routine work was suspended on Monday at Sindh High Court as senior lawyer and ex judge Ali Bin Adam Jaffery died after protracted illness.

The SHC also witnessed a suicide by an employee of Attorney General office as Muhammad Asif jumped to death from fourth floor of the new annexe building. Always dressed in a white shalwar Qameez and while turban, Asif was known for his good manners and decent personality. Hundreds of cases were adjourned Monday.
