Customs field officials considering protest

KARACHI: Pakistan Customs has organized a ceremony on January 26th in relation to World Customs Day.

However, only officers of BS-17 and above have been invited to the event, which has disappointed the field force comprising of appraisers, preventive officers, sepoys and other staff.

The Appraising Officers Association and Preventive Officers Association are contacting each other to discuss some sort of protest as they are not invited.

MCC Preventive Karachi is holding the International Customs Day celebrations, and in this regard a ‘Flag Hoisting Ceremony’ will be held on January 26, 2019 at Old Custom House in Karachi.

To make the event more participative and to create an environment of solidarity among the comity of Customs, formal code for officers has been prescribed.

Navy blue suit with white shirt and Customs logo tie for males and combination of white and navy blue shalwar suit with blue scarf for female officers.  [the_ad id=”31605″]
