KARACHI: To facilitate the visa process, Pakistan Consulate and Macau immigration will develop institutional arrangements for expediting the visa requests.
The decision was taken at a meeting of Pakistan’s Consul General to Hong Kong and Macau Abdul Qadir Memon with Ms. Lao Wan Seong, Deputy Commissioner of Police and head of Macau Immigration to discuss issues relating to visa facilitation especially business and tourist visas for Pakistan nationals.
Memon highlighted the difficulties being faced by travelers from Pakistan in obtaining Macau visa. To facilitate the visa process, Pakistan Consulate and Macau immigration will develop institutional arrangements for expediting the visa requests.
“With more people to people interactions, we hope to realize trade and investment potential especially the hospitality sector where Pakistan can learn from Macau’s experience,” Memon said.
