KARACHI: ASO of MCC Preventive Karachi has seized large quantity of Indian gutka and smuggled betel nut worth Rs9.24 million.
ASO staff acting on the information passed through Deputy Collector Muhammad Faisal seized one 10-wheeler Truck bearing registration No TKE-348 at Super Higway and recovered 103 assorted gunny bags of betel nuts (9,205 Kg) worth Rs 2.558 million and assorted Indian gutkha worth Rs6.68 million, which were hidden under crushed stones.
Total Value of seized goods is Rs9.241 million and value of seized truck is Rs5.0 million.
