KARACHI: A customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan on Monday restrained custom and police officials from intercepting a car suspected of being smuggled one.
The bench heard Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate, counsel for petitioner Waqar Khan who submitted that his client is third owner of the Toyota Crown car, model 2004. She stated that respondents including Anti Car Lifting Cell officials, stop the vehicle every now and then causing embarrassment to the petitioner some times in company of the family members.
The bench after hearing the petitioner in detail restrained the officials from intercepting and harassing the petitioner.
