KARACHI: Justice Junaid Ghaffar of High Court of Sindh ordered Shaheen Air International (SAI) to deposit rupees 2 billion with Air Freight Unit (AFU) of Pakistan Customs within 15 days.
The bench was hearing a petition filed challenging the recovery notice issued by the department.
The bench also heard counsel for department Haider Shaikh advocate who opposed the petition and said that demand notice was duly issued under relevant customs laws.
The bench disposing of the petition, ordered Shaheen Air to comply with notice and deposit rupees 2 billion with AFU in 15 days.
