KARACHI: The Special Court for Control of Narcotic Substances (CNS) judge Ubaid Hamza on Tuesday admitted an accused for being in possession of 700 grams of charas to bail against a solvent surety of rupees 70,000.

According to details, Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) of Pakistan Customs, Preventive during checking of a passenger bus found 700 grams of charas from a polythene bag from the side of the seat, accused was sitting while travelling to Karachi. The bag contained hisclothes. The ASO booked the accused.

Arguing the bail plea of accused/ applicant Hazrat Ali, ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate submitted that the contraband was not possessed by the accused and someone else slipped the same into the polythene bag owned by the accused.

The bench after hearing the arguments admitted the accused to bail against a solvent surety of rupees 70,000.
