KARACHI: Collector MCC Preventive Karachi Dr. Iftikhar has advised the staff at Jinnah International Airport to check the baggage of passengers as per the standard operating procedure provided under the law.
The collector has also advised the staff to do profiling of the passengers without any consideration of protocols by any other agency.
The standing order issued by the collector reads that there will be no protocols by Customs staff to passengers at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
The staff posted at the airport is directed to strictly implement the instructions and any laxity in this regard will entail disciplinary proceedings.
