KARACHI: MCC Quetta has expanded the realm of its crackdown launched against non customs paid vehicles and recovered over a dozen such vehicles worth millions of rupees.

Collector Quetta Ashraf Ali has formed special anti smuggling teams under the supervision of Additional Collector Zubair Shah and Deputy Collector Maqbool Baloch to root out the menace. Through snap checking at various parts of the city and surroundings by MCC mobile squads and check posts. More than a dozen non customs paid vehicles were recovered among them were luxurious vehicles too.

Customs authorities have also planned to raid on illegal show rooms where non customs vehicles are parked. FC and local police is extending all cooperation to customs authorities. The crackdown was launched on the directives of Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) and the ambit of this operation is also being extended to other parts of province within the jurisdiction of MCC Quetta.
