KAARACHI: An appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Mrs Ashraf Jahan on Wednesday declined a request for staying recovery of Sales Tax from DHL, leading courier service in Pakistan.
The bench earlier heard counsel from Franklin Law Associates, representing the DHL. The petitioner challenged 10 per cent Sales Tax on the imported detained order. The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) moved against the petitioner.
The bench later adjourned proceedings till Feb 14 in the petition.
