KARACHI: Directorate of Customs Valuation has revised the customs values of zip slider/zip runners (low end brands) vide Valuation Ruling No.1233/2017.
The customs values of zip slider/zip runners (low end brands) were earlier determined vide Valuation Ruling No.889/2016. Representations from local manufacturers M/s Lucky Zippers Industry were received wherein they stated that the price of zinc has increased in the international market therefore the values of the goods need to be aligned with international prices.
Director Iqbal Muneeb conducted an exercise to determine the values of the goods afresh.
