MCC Peshawar seizes foreign currency

KARACHI: MCC Peshawar has seized foreign currency worth $29,900 froman Afghan national, who was crossing through Torkham border.

On the directives of Collector Peshawar, Gul Rehman, the collectorate staff is keeping strict vigil on Torkham border.

The Customs staff at Torkham border seized $29,900 from one Zar khan S/O Shamsul Haq in the departure scanning hall at Torkham border. The currency is equivalent to Rs3.15 million. A case has been registered and investigation has started.
