KARACHI: A Customs Appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Omar Sial on Wednesday ordered production of a passenger vehicle on Nov 08.
The bench earlier heard Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate, counsel for petitioner Muhammad Ahmed who submitted that vehicle was coming from Thatta to Karachi when intercepted by the officials of Pakistan Customs, Port Muhammad Bin Qasim on alleged ground that it was a non-custom paid (NCP) vehicle.
The petitioner maintained that impounded vehicle was 27 years old and changed hands/ownership many times in these years.
The bench after hearing the initial arguments ordered production of the vehicle before Nazir of the courton or by Nov 08.
