KARACHI: Hearing a constitutional petition filed by one Mir Ahmed challenging detention of a hino bus plying between Hyderabad and Sukkur, an appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Omar Sial ordered production of vehicle before Nazir of Court on Oct 24.
The bench is presently in custody of Pakistan Customs, Hyderabad. It was detained for being used in smuggling goods. Superintendant, Pakistan Customs, Preventive is main respondent in the petition.
Earlier Ms Dil Khurram Saheen advocate appearing for the petitioner submitted that detained vehicle is sole asset of the petitioner and means of livelihood.
