KARACHI: The National Tariff Commission (NTC) has notified that the provisional anti-dumping duty imposed on import of wall and floor tiles from China has expired.
In a letter to Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), NTC noted imposition of provisional anti-dumping duty on dumped import of wall and floor tiles from China for a period of 04 months effective from 18-02-2017. The 04 months imposition period of provisional anti-dumping duty expired on 18-06-2017.
NTC noted, Federal Board of Revenue should not collect anti-dumping duty on import of wall and floor tiles from China from 18.06-2017. When the Commission imposes a definitive anti-dumping duty and the same will be intimated to FBR subsequently.
