KARACHI: An appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Arshad Hussain restrained the Post Clearance Audit, Pakistan Customs from taking any coercive action against DG Khan Cement till April 25.
The bench earlier heard Ghulam Hyder Shaikh advocate of Franklin Law Associates who appeared for the petitioner. The petitioner impugned a show cause notice issued in respect of a consignment of LED Lights. The petitioner sought exemption from Custom Duty, Sales Tax and other levies.
The bench allowing proceedings however restrained the respondent PCA from making any final order while fixing April 25 as next date of hearing.
