KARACHI: Directorate Customs Valuation has revised the customs values of chandeliers, pendants, hanging lights and parts vide Valuation Ruling No.982/2016.
Customs values of light fittings/fixtures and parts was earlier determined vide Valuation Ruling No.879/2016. Meanwhile, a number of representations were received from different importers and the representative association of importers with request that the values needed revision in line with the prices prevailing in the international market.
Director Wasif Memon formed a team comprising Additional Director Iqbal Muneeb, Deputy Director Rizwan Bashir, Principal Appraiser Iqbal Ali to determine the values of goods afresh.
