KARACHI: Directorate of Customs Valuation has revised the customs values of halal chicken & turkey meat vide Valuation Ruling No.972/2016.
Customs values of halal chicken & turkey meat were earlier determined vide Ruling No.757/2015. The values required revision in line with the prevailing prices in the international market.
Director Wasif Memon formed a committee comprising Additional Director Kamran Bukhari, Deputy Director Shoaib Raza, Principal Appraiser Safdar Abbas and Valuation Officer Omar Baloch to determine the values of the subject goods afresh.
The customs values of skinless whole chicken (frozen) under 0207.1200 of China and UAE origin are fixed at $1.4/Kg. The customs values of Boneless chicken breast (frozen) under 0207.1400 of China and UAE origin are fixed at $2.25/Kg. The customs values of skinless whole turkey (frozen) under 0207.2500 of UAE origin are fixed at $2.75/Kg. The customs values of boneless turkey breast (frozen) under 0207.2700 of UAE origin are fixed at $3.3/Kg.
