KARACHI: Directorate of Customs Valuation Karachi has notified the Reference values for Peri Fries/Mccain Wedge.
Directorate General has initiated an exercise to develop database values for different items wherein it has been observed that declarations are wide range and do not correctly reflect values of the items as traded in the international market.
During the scrutiny of previous clearance data, it has been observed that Mccain Wedges/Peri Fries falling under PCT headings 2004.1000 are being assessed at different values and certain transactions are on low side.
Directorate General, after carefully examining the clearance data, also conducted market inquiries to verify the authenticity of declarations. On line prices were also obtained to corroborate the findings of the market surveys.
The Reference values of Mccain Wedges of all origins are $1.68/kg; Reference values of Mccain spicy peri fries of all origins are $3.12/kg; Reference values of Mccain Tandoori Veggie nuggets of all origins are $1.76/kg and Reference values of Mccain smiles fries of all origins are $3.66/kg.
