KARACHI: Hearing a case of higher valuation in respect of imported baby diapers, a Customs Appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Irfan Saadat Khan and Justice Muhammad Humayun Khan ordered issuance of notices to respondents in a constitutional petition filed by FAMs Enterprises for Nov 15.
The bench earlier heard Ghulamullah Shaikh advocate, counsel for petitioner/importer who submitted that the Director, Pakistan Customs, Valuation enhanced the valuation while passing an order in a revision.
The law does not permit the Director Valuation to enhance the valuation/ price in such a manner, the petitioner prayed to the court.
The bench will now hear the petition on Nov 15.
