KARACHI: There will be a close competition on September 24, 2016 as Customs Agents Group and Customs Agents Alliance compete for the offices of Karachi Customs Agents Association for the term 2016-17.
Under the banner of Customs Agents Group, Yahya Mohammad is contesting for the office of President, Haseen Mirza for SVP, Asadullah Shah for VP, Mohammad Rizwan for AVP, Irfan Ali Rashdi for General Secretary, Zahid Bashir for Joint Secretary, Arshad Bhatti for Finance Secretary and Farrukh Saleem is contesting for the office of Information Secretary.
Known customs agents and former office bearers of the association Mehr Alam and iftikhar Shaikh are supporting the Customs Agents Group.
While under the banner of Customs Agents Alliance, Khurram Ijaz is contesting for the office of President, Mohammad Iqbal Feroze for SVP, Saghir Ahmed Qureshi for VP, Amir Mansha for AVP, Wasiq Hussain Khan for General Secretary, Mohammad Amir for Joint Secretary, Mohammad Rashid Jamal for Information Secretary and Munaf Jangda is contesting for the office of Finance Secretary.
Chief Executive TDAP, S.M Munir, Arshad Jamal and Haji Asif are supporting Customs Agents Alliance. It may be mentioned here that Alliance already holds the offices of KCAA for the running term, which gives them an advantage for the election.
