Islamabad: DG intelligence Imtiaz Ahmed Khan rushed to PIMS soon after receiving the news of Martyrdom of four custom officials. He also inquired about condition of the injured officials.
Speaking on the occasion he said the sacrifice made by these officials will make our resolve against smuggling more strong. Pakistan customs anti smuggling operations are linked to National security issues besides increasing review. And these operations would continue with more vigour.
He asked for best medical treatment to the injured official. Later he proceeded to the residence of the deceased officials, condols with the families. He also assured finance assistance and one employment to the family member of each deceased.
A large number of senior officers including Additional Director Abdul Waheed Khan Marwat and Deputy Director Afzal Watto reached PIMS soon after the incident.
