Preventive Lahore seizes gold worth Rs33.2 million

KARACHI: MCC Preventive Lahore has foiled a bid to smuggle out 7.3KG of gold and lodged an FIR.

On information by Collector of Customs, Model Customs (Prevent) Lahore Zulfiqar Younas, Customs Staff posted at Allama Iqbal International  Airport conducted search of two passengers destined to Dubai via flight EK-623.

On search, 7.3kg of gold worth Rs33.2 million was recovered from a person namely Adil Subhani and a female accompanying him.

The recovered gold has been seized under the Customs Act, 1969 and FIR lodged for further investigation.
