KARACHI: The Anti Smuggling Organization of Model Custom Collectorate Preventive, Lahore seized smuggled/non-duty paid vehicles and goods during the month of June 2016 valuing Rs51.331 million, which is many times higher than the seizures of Rs9.8 million made in June 2015.
The ASO Lahore headed by Assistant Collector Dr. Muhammad Adnan Khan and Superintendent Munawar Ahmad Khan is keeping strict vigil over the movement of smuggled and non-duty paid goods.
Cases valuing Rs386.65 million have been made during the period July 2015 to June 2016 whereas cases valuing Rs302.08 millions were made during the corresponding period of last year.
