KARACHI: A divisional bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Muhammad Iqbal Mahar on Wednesday gave a last chance to Pakistan State Oil to implement its decision in a petition seeking regularization of employees in appropriate ‘Grade’.

The bench was hearing a petition filed by  Ghulam Ali, Sajid Mehmood and sixteen others who were regularized in Grade 1 by the PSO.

Shoua-un-Nabi advocate appearing for the petitioners took exception and said instead of placing the petitioners in at-least Grade 4, the respondents placed them along with sweepers etc who are in Grade ! just to frustrate the orders of the SHC as well as Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Their salaries in present group would be less than those paid to contractual employees.
The bench after hearing  Humayun advocate,. Counsel for PSO putting of further hearing till May 24 ordered PSO to settle the issue before next date of hearing.
