KARACHI: Director Customs Valuation Karachi, Dr. Wasif Ali Memon has revised the customs values of shoe polish vide Valuation Ruling No.841/2016.
Since the earlier valuation was determined three and a half years ago vide Valuation Ruling No. 691/2014, a re-determination of customs values of these goods was deemed necessary and an exercise was conducted to determine the values of shoe polish under PCT 3405.1010.
Accordingly, the customs values of shoe polish tin pack of China are fixed at $1.0/KG, of Turkey at $1.15/KG while shoe polish tin pack of all other origins would be assessed to duty and taxes at $1.25/KG.
The customs values of shoe polish in liquid of China are fixed at $1.35/KG, of Turkey at $1.45/KG while shoe polish in liquids of all other origins would be assessed to duty and taxes at $1.65/KG.
