Bail applications by accused in Indian cloth smuggling case adjourned

KARACHI: The hearing of 19 bail applications filed by as many applicants/accused in Indian cloth smuggling case was deferred indefinitely by Justice Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro of High Court of Sindh here Monday.

The adjournment came as the work at SHC was ordered to be suspended following demise of a senior lawyer. However some cases did proceed  in first half an hour.

The applicants include  Danish Qureshi, Syed Naushad Azam, Tahir Sadiq, Zafar Iqbal Hajveri,  Usman Jawwad, Sharjeel Jamal (2 applications), Abdul Wahab, Usman Rafique, Ali Qureshi, Sarfraz Alam, PiyarAli Mithani, Imran Munir Puri, Abdul Jabbar,  Jamaluddin, Muhammad Azeem, Muhammad Amir Shafi and  Asif Bilal.
