KARACHI: Pakistan Customs Staff of Model Customs Collectorate of Islamabad on has foiled an attempt to smuggle 1.750 Kgs of fine quality heroin.
The contrabands were artfully concealed in the false bottom of Aluminum Utensils being sent by post through IMO Chaklala, which was booked from Hazroo, Attock and was to sent to Sheffield UK.
On specific information, Collector Islamabad Dr. Arsalan Subuctageen formed a dedicated team of Custom Officers led by Assistant Collector Customs Ms. Sadia Usman.
The team seized the consignment. A case under Customs Act 1969 has been registered and investigations are underway.
