KARACHI: Director Customs Valuation Manzoor Hussain Memon has revised the Customs values of Gypsum Board, Gypsum tile and fiber cement board vide Valuation Ruling No. 777/2015.
The Valuation Ruling No.692/2014 was agitated before the Director General Customs Valuation. The case was remanded back by the Director General with the instructions to re-determine the customs values of subject goods.
Accordingly, gypsum board (plain) under PCT chapter 68.09 of China and Thailand origin would be assessed to duty and taxes at $0.24/KG while goods of Middle East origin would be assessed to duty and taxes at $0.21/KG.
Gypsum board (decorated) under PCT chapter 68.09 of China and Thailand origin would be assessed to duty and taxes at $0.26/KG while goods of Middle East origin would be assessed to duty and taxes at $0.23/KG.
Fiber Cement board (plain) under PCT chapter 68.11 of China, India and Thailand origin would be assessed to duty and taxes at $0.23/KG.
