KARACHI:- Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Tariq Bajwa would take over as Secretary Economic Affairs division while Member Customs Nisar Muhammad Khan would take over as Officiating Chairman, reliable sources told customnews.pk.
Prime Minister of Pakistan has given formal approval and Establishment division may issue a notification about appointment, postings and transfers in FBR during next 24-48 hours. Nasir Masroor would replace Nisar Muhammad Khan as Member Customs. Member Admin, Shahid Jatoi was being appointed Secretary Senate, sources said.
Nisar Muhammad Khan, a BPS 21 officer is likely to become permanent chairman FBR after FBR board meets in December this year to decide the promotions. It is worth mentioning that Tariq Bajwa was also in Grade 21 when he was appointed chairman FBR. He was later promoted to BPS 22.
